Annual Meeting Minutes DRAFT – January 21, 2021

January 21, 2021 4:00 pm

I. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm.  Those present included Devin Detweiler (Unit 6), Vickie Traxler and Tom Trout (Unit 3), Tori Winters (Unit 11), Ellen Gail (Unit 22), Jana Brandeis (Unit 13), Veronica Ramirez (Unit 1) and Dave Brause (Unit 10).  Also present was Joel Yust, Community Association Officer, from All Property Services.  A quorum was present.

2. The minutes from the 2020 Annual Meeting was reviewed. Devin moved and David seconded that the minutes be approved as they stand.  All were in favor.

3. The 2020 Financial Results were reviewed.  Major repairs/developments included repaving the parking lot and repairing Unit 20 Deck. The Budget was ratified.

4. The current board members and officers are as follows:  Vickie Traxler as President; Devin Detweiler as Treasurer; Tori Winters as member at large.  Ellen Gail and David Brause will attend meetings and for the time being serve as members at large.  Three to seven directors can be appointed and serve for life.

5. Devin moved, and Tori seconded a motion to adjourn at 4:20 pm. 

7. Open Forum:

Jana Brandeis had 5 concerns: 1. Why a Reasonable Accommodation Policy? 2. Are we protecting our ash trees? 3. The erosion behind Building C.  4. How to get Board approval for laying flagstone.  5. How to get notified of workdays. 

Veronica Ramirez asked about the conditions of approval for her request for an Architectural Improvement Request.  The Board has the policy that all improvements must match the existing architectural design of Carriagetown Condominiums.
