Homeowners Associations in Colorado are subject to all applicable state and federal laws. Colorado’s CCIOA (pronounced Kiowa) is the highest authority here. Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act

The Colorado NonProfit Act equally applies to Homeowners Associations.

Carriagetown Condominium Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 1992 and that document is filed with the Secretary of State.

Covenants

After the state and federal laws and the Articles of Incorporation, the Covenants and Amendments are the authority. They are filed with Larimer County.
